YRP R&D Promotion Committee (YRP Committee) will exhibit at the Wireless Technology Park (WTP) 2021 to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 2 to 4, 2021, as a special cooperating organization.
WTP is one of the largest events in Japan that specially focuses on R&D of wireless communication technologies and held as a venue for collaboration between industry, academia, and government, and for the creation of new businesses. Visitors can experience the latest technologies in the wireless field through "exhibitions," "seminars," and "academic progrram".
At the YRP booth, we will introduce the activities of Broadband Wireless Forum and the WSN Promotion Committee. Please be informed that, as part of the countermeasure against COVID-19, pre-registration is required for visitors.

Report on "IoT x 5G Virtual Space Utilization Seminar" held by the WSN Promotion Committee

The WSN Promotion Committee of the YRP Committee held the "IoT x 5G Virtual Space Utilization Seminar" as a fully online webinar last March 3, as part of its regular "IoT x XX Seminar" series conveying the various transformative possibilities of the IoT.
With the growing interest in 5G and beyond5G, Mr. Hisashi Onaga, Director of the Mobile Communications Division, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), Dr. Nobuo Kawaguchi, Nagoya University, and other lecturers gave presentations on hot topics such as "policy trends" and "IoT cyber-physical technologies," and we received very positive feedback from many of the participants.
The WSN Promotion Committee will continue to hold "IoT x XX" seminars in the future, so please check back for more.
