Wireless Technology Park (WTP) 2019, Japan's largest-scale event that focuses on the latest R&D of wireless communication technologies will be held on 29-31 May 2019 at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan, and its application deadline for exhibition, 28 February, is approaching!
WTP 2019 consists of an exhibition, seminars, and academia programs, and state-of-the-art technologies that expand the possibility of new business such as 5G and IoT will be introduced.

The 21st International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC 2018)

The 21st International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC 2018) was held in Chiang Rai, Thailand, from 25 to 28 November 2018, under the co-sponsorship of YRP R&D Promotion Committee (YRP Committee), National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), and Mae Fah Luang University (MFU).
This time, WPMC 2018 was held as one of the commemorative events of the 20th Anniversary of the foundation of MFU and held concurrently with the 6th Global Wireless Summit (GWS) collecting more than 230 participants from 24 countries.
Total number of submitted papers was about 220, and more than 140 papers were accepted with the acceptance ratio of 64% enabling full program for 4 days, which consists of keynote sessions, technical sessions, special sessions, and poster sessions.

Wireless Smart Utility Network (WSN) Promotion Committee and YRP Committee exhibited in "IoT Technology 2018" co-located with "Embedded Technology 2018" on 14-16 November 2018 in Pacifico Yokohama, Japan.
In “IoT Wireless Sensor Network Pavilion," we introduced activities related to the wireless sensor network conducted by the member companies/organizations of YRP Committee, WSN Promotion Committee, and Testbed Subcommittee of Smart IoT Acceleration Forum, who collaborate to construct and operate Yokosuka Hybrid LPWA Testbed.
In Pavilion, Yokosuka Hybrid LPWA Testbed (http://www.yrp.co.jp/LPWA/index.html), which started its free trial operation this year, was specially featured, and concrete use cases of the Testbed were introduced.
