| The club station of Yokosuka Research Park(YRP) Amateur Radio “JN1YRP” is installed in the first building in Yokosuka Telecom Research Park, Inc. which is a third-sector company born as the research and development foothold specialized in ICT( Information Communications Technology) in a hill country of Yokosuka city overlooking Tokyo Bay.
YRP is the huge study group which consists of it in a national research organization and a research organization of a private enterprise of inside and outside the country in Japan, so that a club member consists of a researcher of ICT relations to work here. In such an environment, various international conferences, a symposium, a lecture are planned to proceed technical improvement and communication each other.
On greeting the 10th anniversary YRP establishment in this October 2007. We established the memorial station as a call of “8J10YRP” especially which can be spread the significance and to contribute to an increase of understanding for Amateur Radio, the healthy spread of amateur duties, development in commemoration of an event held in YRP which is Science Park of the field of ICT on behalf of our country. |
