The Center for TeleInFrastruktur (CTIF-Director, Professor Ramjee Prasad) , one of the reseach organizations regarding R &D and Educational facilities of ICT fields including the mobile communications of Aalborg University ,Denmark held the Inauguration Ceremony in Hotel Pacific Tokyo on October 3rd 2008 to establish "CTIF-Japan" in the Yokosuka Research Park (YRP) in Yokosuka city Kanagawa-Pref.

The Center for TeleInFrastruktur (CTIF-Japan) will advance the research, development, and technical reputation of Japan by the joint effort and work with its worldwide divisions (namely CTIF-Italy, CTIF-India, CTIF-Copenhagen, CTIF-USA(2009)) and worldwide networks consisting of universities, companies, government institutes and international organizations to lead the next revolution in Information Communication Technology ( ICT) by the simultaneous focus given on the education, research and the marketplace, in the area of ICT.

CTIF is a new paradigm shift in innovative research and higher education in the area of next generation mobile communication. With its pioneer concept of worldwide distribution of research and educational activities, combined with commercialization of results, it provides innovation and entrepreneurship at the Masters and PhD level.

The vision of CTIF is to create a new dimension of research, education, and innovation leading towards emerging communication technologies through the establishment of a global and dynamic organization. The mission of CTIF is to serve as a platform for joint activities in the convergence of networks, technologies, services and applications field through regional, national and international co-operation.

CTIF has strong links with national and international industrial partners and relations with acclaimed universities and research institutes. CTIF has also opened its divisions worldwide as shown in Fig. (right).
